Matthew Bocklet
Matt Bocklet retired from the MLL after the 2018 season. He finished his 11 year career (10 with the Denver Outlaws) as a 3x MLL Champion (2014, 2016, 2018), the Outlaws all time leader in games played (153), and ground balls (730). He was captain of the team in his final 4 seasons, and finished his career ranked in league history 3rd all time for ground balls and 5th in games played. He played collegiality at Johns Hopkins University where he won an NCAA Championship in 2007 and was named an All-American in 2008. Matt just won the 2019 Colorado 5A State Championship in his 2nd season as Varsity Head Coach at Cherry Creek High School. He’s in his first season as the Outlaws Defensive Coordinator, and spent 6 years as the Head Coach at Highlands Ranch High School, where he was named CHSAA Coach of the Year in 2014. Matt founded the DoCo Lacrosse Club (now Colorado Outlaws) in 2011 and is currently the Executive Director. He also serves on the Young Professionals Board for Denver City Lax.
