Team 91 Colorado Girls Recruiting Director

Meet Liv Troy

Recruiting Director

Liv Troy serves as our girls Recruiting Director, bringing passion, experience, and a deep understanding of the lacrosse journey to every athlete she mentors.

Liv previously coached the 2033 Lightning girls and now works closely with the 2028 Force squad. She is dedicated to guiding players and families through the recruiting process — helping athletes define their goals, discover their aspirations, and build a clear, confident path toward playing at the collegiate level.

A Journey Built on Experience

Liv’s background in lacrosse reflects both perseverance and perspective. She began playing the sport in high school, navigating a late start in the recruiting process — proof that with the right mindset and motivation, anything is possible.

Her journey led her to the University of Connecticut, where she competed as a Division I athlete for four years. During her fifth year, Liv transitioned into a team manager role while earning her teaching degree. This experience allowed her to work closely behind the scenes with college coaches, giving her valuable insight into the other side of the recruiting process — knowledge she now shares with her athletes.

Leadership On and Off the Field

After graduating, Liv returned home to coach at her alma mater and with the CT Grizzlies club program. She also founded her own lacrosse initiative, organizing and coaching clinics for grades 3–8 in her hometown to help grow the game at the grassroots level.

Since moving to Colorado, Liv has continued to expand her impact. She serves as the head coach of the Ralston Valley High School varsity team and is proud to be part of the Team 91 family.

In addition to coaching, Liv teaches at East High School. Her passion for education and mentorship fuels everything she does.

Her Mission

Liv’s goal is simple: to grow the game and show players how much lacrosse can offer them — not just in college, but in life. She is committed to helping athletes build confidence, character, and opportunity through the recruiting journey.
